Office Sight – Office Furniture Blog
No matter what type of business you own, properly decorating the reception area is key. This is the first place that a client or customer will see when he or she enters the building. You don’t need a $10,000 sofa in the lobby, but it doesn’t hurt to have comfortable seating. There is nothing worse than waiting for over a half an hour in a lobby and sitting in an uncomfortable chair. When it comes to furniture, you should have multiple chairs and at least one sofa. Two lounge sofas will be great if you can fit it. Take a look at some Keilhauer seating.
Always have a matching coffee table or two where you can place some reading materials. Have company materials, books, and magazines spread out on the table. Even though your guest might be more interested in reading People magazine, this is the time to help promote your business. Just make sure to keep it current and relevant. Adding vases and other small decor items will make the lobby seem more relaxed and comfortable.
Paint the walls a warm and inviting color. A lobby should be clean and sleek, yet comfortable. It will set the tone for the rest of your office. It shouldn’t be sterile like many medical offices are. Let it be a reflection of your company.
