Staying fit while working an office job isn’t that hard as long as you follow few simple rules. Balanced diet and routine exercise is always a must, but while eating healthy food is pretty easy, some of us don’t have that extra time to spend at the gym. Luckily, there are many ways to stay fit while at work, sitting on your executive desk chairs.
First of all, make sure that you sit at a straight angle and have good support for your back. And now to business:
Neck exercise – stretch your neck back and forth and side to side to lessen stiffness.
Shoulders – roll your shoulder one by one for 20 seconds each to relieve stress.
Hands – Try to stretch your wrists as much as possible. Roll the wrists clock and counterclockwise or keep a small pressure ball at your desk to release typing strain.
Stand Up! And walk away from your executive desk chair every now and then to ensure good blood circulation. Use the stairs instead of the elevator and go talk to people instead of using the phone.
And most important, get an agronomic executive desk chair that can give you good support throughout the day.
