Everyone knows the importance of choosing ergonomic furniture and accessories, but before you choose that ergonomic executive desk chair or keyboard tray, find out just how great it really is. Many manufacturers will slap on the term ergonomic because they know the product will sell better. They also might use the term to jack up the price because they know people are willing to spend a little more money on comfort. So how can you avoid getting swindled?

Always buy your office products and furniture from stores you trust. Look for brand names you recognize. Do a little research and find out what the competition costs. If you find a very cheap product, chances are it’s poorly made. Also make sure you’re not being overcharged as well. An ergonomic keyboard tray shouldn’t cost you hundreds of dollars.
