Office Redecorating Tips

Have you ever looked around a room and realized it was just… blah? That’s what happened in my office. When I decided to redecorate, I wasn’t sure where to start looking. There were so many decisions to be made; did I want prints, patterns, solids? Did I want neutral colors? Neons? Then I had to think about texture and fabrics.

A co-worker I’m close with sent me a web site with decorating tips, some of which include:

Choosing colors that reflect the nature of the business. If you want to keep the walls white, choose a softer, warmer white and make sure to use accent colors.
Don’t leave walls bare. Artwork is an easy way to spruce up an office’s appearance.
When choosing furniture, choose lounge sofas, chairs and desks that match.
Pick up some plants to make the area more cheerful. If you’re worried about taking care of them, you can speak to the office janitorial staff about regularly watering the plants.
